HBO has renewed its comedy series ‘Getting On (US)’ for a third season. The third season will also have six episodes, just like seasons one and two. But the third season will also be the last one.
Based on a British series with the same name, ‘Getting On (US)’ follows the staff at the Billy Barnes Extended Care Unit of Mt. Palms Hospital in Long Beach, CA. They attend to the needs of female patients who are often ‘getting on’ in years. The comedy stars Laurie Metcalf, Alex Borstein, Niecy Nash, and Mel Rodriguez.
Season two had an average of 250,000 viewers and HBO could keep the series in the air by keeping the costs low. There is no word yet on when the third and final season will premiere.
Are you sad that ‘Getting On (US)’ is going to end?
