Creator and lead actress Linda de Mol (Cheryl in the series) previously said that she is looking forward to the new season. "The old feeling is coming back." Tjitske Reidinga (Claire), Susan Visser (Anouk) and Lies Visschedijk (Roelien) are also returning, just like Beppie Melissen (Aunt Cor), Derek de Lint (Doctor Rossi) and Alex Klaasen (Yari).
Gooische Vrouwen is about four friends from Het Gooi and was a Dutch version of successful American television series such as Desperate Housewives and Sex and the City. The series was on television for five seasons and 42 episodes, from 2005 to 2009.
In its final year, Gooische Vrouwen received the Golden Televizier Ring, after having been nominated three times before. This was followed by two films in 2011 and 2014, both of which attracted more than two million visitors.
The sixth season of Gooische Vrouwen can be streamed on Videoland from October 27th. As of November 10th, the series can also be seen every Sunday at 8:30 PM on SBS6.
