Grantchester is a series about a young and unorthodox minister of the Anglican Church who, together with his friend, the detective, solves crimes. The series is set in the 1950s. Not a comedy, like Father Brown, but a series with protagonists who also develop as characters. Just watched the third season and I think that's a real highlight. A pleasure to watch.
