Official trailer for Great Expectations

Great Expectations releases next month on FX on Hulu, and a trailer has now been released for the reworking of Charles Dickens' classic novel. Starring Fionn Whitehead (Black Mirror: Bandersnatch), Olivia Colman (The Crown), Shalom Brune-Franklin (The Tourist), Ashley Thomas (The Ipcress File), Johnny Harris (Fortitude), Hayley Squires (The Essex Serpent) , Owen McDonnell (Killing Eve), Trystan Gravelle (The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power), Laurie Ogden, Rudi Dharmalingam (The Split), Tom Sweet (Gunpowder), Chloe Lea (Foundation) and Matt Berry (What We Do in the Shadows), comes the limited series from Steven Knight (Peaky Blinders).



BBC revealed more about the upcoming series in a press release:

"Watch the OFFICIAL TRAILER for FX's Great Expectations, starring Olivia Colman (pictured) and from the executive producer of Peaky Blinders and Taboo (2017). A new limited series in association with the BBC. Premieres Sunday, March 26, only on Hulu.

Starring Fionn Whitehead, Olivia Colman and Shalom Brune-Franklin. Great Expectations is the coming-of-age story of Pip, an orphan who longs for a bigger life, until a twist of fate and a mysterious benefactor opens up a dark world of possibilities. Beneath the great expectations placed on him, Pip must weigh the true cost of this new world and whether it will make him the man he wants to be.
