HBO series Hacks with Jean Smart is coming soon to Netflix

HBO series Hacks with Jean Smart is coming soon to Netflix

It doesn't seem to be over yet with HBO series crossing over to Netflix, because a new title is already on its way to the streamer.
Over the past calendar year, Netflix viewers have been spoiled with many HBO series on the streaming service, such as Band of Brothers, Six Feet Under, Ballers and True Blood. So there will be more series.

Hacks

Hacks will be available on Netflix from Friday, March 8. There have been two seasons of this series, which won an abundance of Emmy Awards.

Hacks explores a dark mentorship that develops between Deborah Vance, a legendary Las Vegas comedian, and a 25-year-old outcast. The series started in 2021, making it the most recent HBO series to cross over to Netflix.

Jean Smart won an Emmy two consecutive years for her role.

The series was created by Paul W. Downs, his wife Lucia Aniello, and Jen Statsky, who previously worked on the comedy Broad City. The third season of Hacks will premiere on HBO Max next spring.

The leading roles in Hacks are for Smart, Hannah Einbinder and Carl Clemons-Hopkins.

Below you can watch the trailer for the first season of Hacks.

For those who don't have HBO, but do have Netflix, go see this series! It is a comedy without a laugh track but with fantastic humor. I sat on the couch laughing out loud at least once every episode. Highly recommended as far as I'm concerned.
