If you enjoy watching series like The UnXplained,
The Unbelievable with Dan Aykroyd,
Mysteries Unearthed with Danny Trejo etc. then this one fits that list, same kind of concept. :)

A really fun series about how dangerous things used to be normal and even played a role in everyday life. It also explains how people eventually realized it might not have been such a good idea to use heroin as a painkiller, for example, or to create a science kit for children with real radioactive uranium... Unlikely? Absolutely! Did it really happen? Also definitely.
Sometimes you can't imagine how these kinds of things came to light, but hey, with the knowledge we have now, it's easy to say.

What I find funny is that there are now so many of these kinds of shows with older actors, clearly past their prime, as hosts. Henry Winkler (The Fonz from Happy Days), William Shatner (Captain Kirk from Star Trek), Dan Aykroyd (actor from Ghostbusters and The Blues Brothers, among others), Danny Trejo (known from about 100 films), Dennis Quaid (known primarily as a film actor), the list goes on.
And generally, the series all follow the same format: short films related to the overall theme of the series. Most of these series are very entertaining, and sometimes you can even learn something from them.

This show is just as good. It's fantastic, and you hear things you never thought possible. Highly recommended, and thanks again to Sproet2jes for the tip!
