Het glazen huis is an Dutch soap series which is aired on AVROTROS. The series premiered on September 4th, 2004.

The Glass House centers on a large family, with media tycoon Axel Westhof as the pater familias. Patricia is Axel's wife, the matriarch who covers everything that can't stand the light of day with a cloak of love and keeps the family together. Their children fulfill various roles within the empire, each with their own ambitions and motives. Their dreams and fights for extend beyond "making television." Their romances, marital disputes, and family issues take center stage, and distortions of them appear in the media.
