Hollands Hoop is een Nederlandse dramaserie van de zender BNNVARA. De serie ging in première op 27 september 2014.
Hollands Hoop vertelt over Fokke Augustinus, een forensisch psychiater, die op een kruispunt in zijn leven staat. Als hij het boerenbedrijf van zijn vader erft, verhuist hij met zijn vrouw en kinderen naar het Groningse platteland. Daar blijkt het boerenbedrijf een front voor een criminele organisatie en langzaam rolt Fokke in een carrière als drugshandelaar. Zijn kennis van het criminele brein gecombineerd met een afbrokkelend ethisch besef, brengt hem meer succes dan hij aan kan.

Was very skeptical when I saw the announcement. The first episode was quite slow but from the second episode the story really picks up speed. Sure it's a Dutch series and it's in our nature to laugh a bit about it, but I think it's a good product so far (5th episode), not at all comparable to Breaking Bad (which I initially thought). also expected), of course there are clichés in the series but they suit me just fine.

Good is different but bad is also different. Too many clichés and prejudices are crammed into 1 series, even 1 episode and that is a shame. Fortunately, there are only 8 episodes so that is still manageable. I am very curious what they will make of it in the next 6 episodes.

Season 1 was good, original storyline. I found the second season a little less good. But I notice that season 3 does not meet my expectations. Too bad. I disturb the 'enemy', poorly played as an actor in a B movie. Unnatural and fake. Not convincing.

I think it's a good series, for a moment I thought it was going to be a copy of Breaking Bad. But after episode one, it got an original exciting storyline. Fortunately, just like Pinoza quality on the Dutch channel. Well acted. I hope there will be a second season, I'm really looking forward to the sequel.
