Trailer for Hollywood from Ryan Murphy

Hollywood (2020), which has been made by Ryan Murphy (American Horror Story), is set to release on Netflix in May. A trailer has just been released. Earlier this year, it was revealed that Hollywood (2020), which is the second Netflix series made by Ryan Murphy (The Politician), would release on the 1st of May. The series will consist of seven episodes and is, according to Murphy, a love letter to earlier Hollywood. A trailer of the series has just been released.

The American drama series takes place in Los Angeles in the 40s. Race, gender and sexuality will also be central themes in the story. Murphy has already made a series that revolved around the ancient Hollywood, which is called Feud.



Earlier, it was also revealed which actors would star in the series. Rob Reiner (Tall Tales and Legends) will portray Ace Amberg, Mira Sorvino (Modern Family) will portray Jeanne Crandall, and Michelle Krusiec (Hawaii Five-0) will portray Anna May Wong, the first Chinese-American movie star of Hollywood.

Next to that, the cast will also feature Darren Criss (American Crime Story), Jim Parsons (The Big Bang Theory), David Corenswet (The Politician (2019)), Dylan McDermott (American Horror Story), Patti LuPone (Pose), Joe Mantello (Law & Order) and Maude Apatow (Euphoria).
