Apple TV+ will release a new crime series called Home Before Dark. The first trailer has just been released. The series follows a young girl, played by Brooklynn Prince. The girl moves from Brooklyn to a small village on the lake, from which her father (Jim Sturgess,
Hard Sun) has fled. The girl found out the truth behind a secret that everyone in the village seems to be hiding, including her father.
Home Before Dark is inspired by the now 11-year-old Hilde Lysiak, who uncovered a murder at the age of 9 in her birthplace Selinsgrove and published this in her own newspaper, Orange Street News. Earlier,
the release date of the series was announced.
Home Before Dark will be released on Apple TV+ on the 3rd of April.
The series was created by Dana Fox and Dara Resnik. Russel Friend and Garrett Lerner wrote the script. In addition to Brooklynn Prince and Jim Sturgess, Abby Miller, Kylie Rogers, Joelle Carter, Jibrail Nantambu, Deric McCabe, Michael Weston, Aziza Scott and Louis Herthum will play a role in the series.
