I have just watched the entire first season before the second season comes, and I have to say that I am quite surprised overall. In my opinion it is a round story, which is quite correct and I honestly did not expect that. In the beginning it took some getting used to and it felt a bit rushed, but after episode 9 it really starts. The last episode was quite stretching until the reveal, but hey, such a soapy element is a guilty pleasure of mine! : D Of course Viola Davis who plays a fantastic role and I think the students are a good addition. Furthermore, in terms of language use and 'sex' it seems to go a bit further than the average networks (ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX). All in all, a nice series!
