Ice Road Truckers

Ice Road Truckers is an American/Canadian reality program on the History Channel. The series premiered on June 17, 2007.

Ice Road Truckers follows truck drivers who travel hundreds of miles across frozen lakes to the northernmost tip of Canada to deliver materials and supplies to miners. The ability of a 40-ton truck door to sink into the ice creates a constant tension. The rewards for the drivers are high, but the risks are even greater.
