In het spoor van IS is a Dutch special interest program which aired on BNNVARA. The series premiered on December 11, 2017.

In 2014 they were there suddenly: The fighters of IS who in a short time managed to conquer a large part of Syria and Iraq and founded their own caliphate. Until the Islamic State was defeated at the end of 2017. In the wake of IS there is a diptych of program makers Sinan Can and Jochem Pinxteren that tries to explain the rise and fall of the Islamic state.
