BBC America pulls the plug on Intruders

Glen Morgan, the executive producer of ‘Intruders’, has confirmed what everyone already knew, BBC America has cancelled ‘Intruders’ after only one season of eight episodes. ‘Intruders’ was one of the few series that premiered in 2013-2014 and was still waiting for renewal or cancelling.

On twitter Morgan confessed that the conspiracy series will not get more than eight episodes:
“Well, Reverti, this life is over. ‘Intruders’ will live only in 8 episodes. We can't thank those that supported us enough... (more) #Intruders such an intelligent audience willing to be challenged and face tough questions. Hope we will all be triggered in 9 years. (more) What goes around, comes around. #Intruders. Michael Marshall Smith who wrote the book on which the series is based wrote the following:
“Sadly, we are finally able to announce that BBCA will not be renewing ‘’ Intruders’.(…)A huge thanks to everyone who watched and supported the show — you made the whole thing fun, before and during, and are still doing so afterwards. I’m glad to know you.”
