For now, I'm giving this new series an 8+. The first episode certainly looks promising and has me looking forward to more. This is definitely something IT fans will love.

Wow, this was insanely good. As a huge fan of IT, first the book (1986), then the first film, and then the two remakes, I had a feeling this series would be completely redundant and offer nothing new. I was so wrong, and I'm glad it did. It's just further back in time, more on Pennywise's history, and a generous dose of fantasy that still fits the original story. I'm already looking forward to the next season, hopefully not in 27 years...

Good first episode. Some wonderfully gruesome scenes, and no Pennywise yet. Hopefully, the impact will be even greater when he does appear. I'm not rating it yet, but it looks really good.
