Julia has a start date for the second season. Max has announced that the eight-episode second season will be released in November. Set in the 1960s, the biographical drama series
Julia is inspired by the life of television presenter/chef
Julia Child (Sarah Lancashire) during the production of her public broadcaster cooking series The French Chef. David Hyde Pierce, Bebe Neuwirth, Brittany Bradford, Fran Kranz and Fiona Glascott also star. Rachel Bloom (
Crazy Ex-Girlfriend) has been added to the cast for season two.
The series returns on Thursday, November 16.
Julia was developed by executive producer Daniel Goldfarb (
The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel). Christopher Keyser (
The Society) also serves as executive producer. The first season of the series debuted in March 2022 and the comedy series was renewed in May, one day before the season one finale aired.
