Trailer for Krapopolis offers first look at the Dan Harmon-created animated series for Fox

Fox comes with a trailer for Krapopolis, which should finally be shown on the network in the 2023-24 season.
The animated series created by Dan Harmon will air on Fox on Sunday, September 24. The series will launch with a special two-episode preview following the network's NFL double-two.

Krapopolis

Krapopolis will be part of the network's Animation Domination block starting Sunday, October 1, where it will air at 8:30 p.m. after The Simpsons and before Bob's Burgers and Family Guy.

This comes after the series scored a third season renewal before any image of the show has been seen by the viewing public.

Fox has pushed Krapopolis into the 2023-24 season, changing plans to premiere the series in May in a block of four two-hour episodes.

Krapopolis has had a very long waiting period. Harmon signed a direct deal with the network in July 2020 with a series commitment. In February 2021, the then-untitled series received a formal series order, making it the first wholly-owned animated series. A special preview of the series, which received a second season renewal in October 2022, was originally scheduled for November 2022, but was postponed due to Welcome to Flatch replacing an NFL doubles diptych.

Then it was planned that the series would start last May alongside series like Grimsburg with the voice of Jon Hamm and the second season of Housebroken. However, the series is now being moved to the next season.

Ayoade (The IT Crowd) is the voice of Tyrannis, the mortal son of a goddess. He is the benevolent king of Krapopolis, trying to hold his own in a city that lives up to his name. Waddingham (Ted Lasso) plays Deliria, the mother of Tyrannis, goddess of self-destruction and questionable choices. Within her extended Olympian family - forged in patricide and infidelity - she is known as the slut.

Berry (What We Do in the Shadows) is Shlub, the father of Tyrannis, a mantitaur - half centaur (horse + human), half manticore (lion + human + scorpion). He is oversexed and underemployed, claims to be an artist and has literally never paid for anything in any sense of the word in his entire life. Murphy (Mapleworth Murders) plays Stupendous, the half-sister of Tyrannis, daughter of Deliria and a Cyclops. Trussell plays Hippocampus, Tyrannis's half-brother, descendant of Shlub and a mermaid, and clearly a biological mess.

Alanna Ubach (Euphoria) has a recurring voice role, with Susan Sarandon, Will Forte, Michael Urie, Jane Lynch, Amber Stevens West, Yvette Nicole Brown and Dave Franco as guest stars.

The series was created and produced by Rick and Morty co-creator Harmon and is produced by Fox's Bento Box Entertainment. Jordan Young serves as showrunner for the first season and executive producer with Alex Rubens serving as showrunner for seasons two and three.
