great series to just stretch out on the couch and not have to think about anything. as always Tim Allen is doing a great job! Especially in combination with the other characters, this is a series to keep in!

Damn, that intro to the 1st ep of the 7th season is really sad. Fox wants to act tough that they saved this series, while at the same time they canceled much better series such as Brooklyn 9-9, Lucifer, The Mick and The Last Man On Earth. Then they also did a really bad recasting for the role of Mandy. It is now suddenly 2 meters long. 6 seasons was more than enough for this series. It was funny for the first few seasons, especially the many references to the genius Home Improvement. But after that it soon became much of the same.

This series is fun up to and including season 6. During those seasons I often had to laugh out loud. The show was then canceled and picked up again by Fox a year later. But you can skip these last three seasons as far as I'm concerned. Renzoroy already put it right. The recasting for Mandy is very bad and just doesn't get over. Kaitlyn Dever who plays daughter Eve has also started doing something else and Eve is no longer home but comes to have a look every now and then. And daughter Kristin was not the nicest of the bunch anyway. Instead, a barely nice exchange student comes into the house and the stories are also becoming more "American". The church is going to play a major role and in every episode there is now a moral that is really hammered in. Even Tim is getting more and more politically correct. It's just not fun anymore. As far as I am concerned, he should have stayed canceled. The strength of the show was precisely the interplay within the family between all those women and Tim and the wonderfully conservative streak of the protagonist. Without it, it's just another standard US comedy show with way too much band laughter.

terrible crappy series with ridiculously stupid political humor the character of tim allen is a jerk bad man, bad father bah i have never had to get annoyed by such a main character of a sitcom series as in this tim allen no great actor is the only what he did well was the santa claus trilogy nothing special i don't understand that such a series got 9 seasons personally i only found the 2 youngest daughters very nice characters their were the only reason that i sometimes watched the series but is without them no money.
