Last Man Standing premiered on ABC back in 2011. The alphabet network decided to cancel the series after its sixth season in 2017. Luckily for the fans, the series was taken over by FOX. They released a seventh season in 2018. But it was bound to happen, the series has also been cancelled by FOX. The upcoming ninth season will be the last one. It is expected that this season will start its run in January 2021.
The eighth season of Last Man Standing had fewer viewers in comparison to the previous season. Nonetheless, FOX decided to renew the series with a ninth season. Last Man Standing was still one of the best-watched scripted series. It revolves around Mike Baxter (Tim Allen, Home Improvement), marketing director of the Outdoor Man sports stores. His wife Vanessa becomes a lot more occupied with her job and thus Mike has to do a lot more in the household and help raise his three daughters.
