Because of the Macgyver reboot and the series Rush Hour, I started the series with a very low expectation pattern from episode 1. What every series comes up against, you also get the series with Lethal Weapon, you have to get used to the characters. Maybe a little more with this series because of the movies. The characters: Wayans portrays a fine Murtaugh, the family man who should actually take it a bit easier. I myself did not know Crawford from other series or films, but it surprised me in portraying the suicidal, depressive and risk-taking Riggs. But what is most important (also about the films) is the chemistry between them and this is indeed present. The humor and witty remarks are flying around your ears, while the action and stunts in the series look more than fine. Conclusion: I was very surprised by the series. It looks good (episodes can also be seen separately) often with a smile! You can't help but compare it to the movies, but I don't think they could have done it better in any other way. Is it perfect then? Certainly not, but neither are the movies. They are both entertaining and definitely recommended to follow. I don't expect this to stay with Season 1 alone.

http://variety.com/2018/tv/news/clayne-crawford-lethal-weapon-1202783758/ Would be a shame if it was canceled for something like that. Anyway, if Riggs is replaced by another character, it's just not a Lethal Weapon anymore. Riggs is the Lethal Weapon in both the movies and this series.

went to watch the first episode with very low expectations. but after episode 1 I was actually sold. season final was also good, but I don't know if season 2 can maintain this strength of quality.

Thanks to the replacement of Riggs, I started to like the series a lot more. With him I always had that I could not let go of his Stiffler image, but now it has no problems at all. Very nice role. Damon is less suited to his role now, I think. I would even give it a shot if it were to be replaced. But that for later "care". For now ... very nice again.

Tasty series. Looks good with a healthy game of humor. I wait until I complete all episodes of Season 2 to watch them all at once. I am already looking forward to it.

Season 2 is much less exciting than the first. Hopefully season 3 will be better, otherwise I'll really quit.

Personally, I think a different title and different names for the protagonists would have been better for this series. In any case, I would be less bothered by certain things because, unless you haven't seen the films, you are going to compare things with the original. It is all a bit exaggerated, which in itself is not bad because of course the film franchise was. What bothers me is a Damon Wayans who tries way too hard to be anything like Danny Glover, including facial expressions, but really doesn't succeed at any point. In that respect, I think Clayne Crawford is a little better in his role, although the man cannot stand a comparison with Mel Gibson for more than one reason of course. What remains is simple entertainment, genre sense to zero, with some very illogical things in the pilot episode. When I look for something in my own home at night, I usually switch on the light. Mrs. Alvarez, on the other hand, uses a flashlight in her own home. Or Crawford who, after talking to his wife on the phone, pulls the car over and then retrieves a long-range rifle and takes out the crooks he was chasing because he just learned that he is going to be a father and not wants to take unnecessary risks. Considering that his wife is already on her way to the hospital to give birth, something makes me suspect that at the start of the chase, he also knew he was going to be a father. You have to add that and other nonsense in a genre like this, of course, but if it were up to me I would rather under a different title and with different names.
