First look at Taylor Sheridan's CIA drama series Special Ops: Lioness

Paramount+ has released first photos and an official title for Taylor Sheridan's upcoming spy thriller Special Ops: Lioness (formerly known as Lioness). Starring Nicole Kidman (Big Little Lies, The Undoing), Zoe Saldaña (From Scratch), Laysla De Oliveira (Locke & Key) and Morgan Freeman (Solos).

Based on a real-life CIA program, Special Ops: Lioness follows Cruz Manuelos (De Oliveira), a rough but passionate young Marine who is recruited to become part of the CIA's Lioness Engagement Team to take down a terrorist organization from the inside out. to roll. Saldaña will play Joe, the Lioness program chief who is in charge of training, managing and directing its female undercover agents.



The series, from MTV Entertainment Studios and 101 Studios, also stars Dave Annable (Walker), Jill Wagner (Teen Wolf), LaMonica Garrett (1883), James Jordan (Yellowstone (2018)), Austin Hébert (Unbelievable), Jonah Wharton ( The Rookie), Stephanie Nur (1883) and Hannah Love Lanier in the lead roles, with Emmy Award nominee Michael Kelly (House of Cards (2013), Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan) in a recurring role.

Sheridan co-produces with David C. Glasser, Zoe Saldaña, Nicole Kidman, Ron Burkle, Bob Yari, David Hutkin, Jill Wagner, Geyer Kosinski, Michael Malone and John Hillcoat.
