Based on a real-life CIA program, Special Ops: Lioness follows Cruz Manuelos (De Oliveira), a rough but passionate young Marine who is recruited to become part of the CIA's Lioness Engagement Team to take down a terrorist organization from the inside out. to roll. Saldaña will play Joe, the Lioness program chief who is in charge of training, managing and directing its female undercover agents.

The series, from MTV Entertainment Studios and 101 Studios, also stars Dave Annable (Walker), Jill Wagner (Teen Wolf), LaMonica Garrett (1883), James Jordan (Yellowstone (2018)), Austin Hébert (Unbelievable), Jonah Wharton ( The Rookie), Stephanie Nur (1883) and Hannah Love Lanier in the lead roles, with Emmy Award nominee Michael Kelly (House of Cards (2013), Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan) in a recurring role.
