"Hey, I know the dude in that picture. Isn't that… Isn't that the lame one from The Usual Suspects? Isn't that Keyser Söze?" Yes that is correct. Kevin Spacey shines in this must-see that's most like a West Wing and Borgen intersection. As the right-hand man of America's new president, he surreptitiously settles some outstanding accounts. You can download it, but make sure you have nothing to do for the rest of the day, because this is a blast. smasher. carpenter. Stamper. clapper. whine.
What a pity that the last season ends like this. So suddenly broken down. All seasons have kept me so glued to the tube. Although I never watch this battle series, this one was really cool! It kept fascinating me. You can imagine that I was very curious how season 6 would go ..... full of excitement and then 'plop' the end! This is such a shame !! They should have done this better, there was certainly enough material to write about.
I have an unsatisfactory feeling after season 5. The atmosphere was typical HoC, but some storylines do not come out well. Patricia Clarkson appears out of nowhere, but apparently has a lot of influence and / or knowledge of all kinds of things and people around the world. You always have the feeling that there is something dubious about her, but what is not clear this season and because this character really almost literally falls from the sky, they should have shown more about her motives, because now it remains it is very very vague in my opinion. The role of Seth Grayson also seems to be important in the first episodes, but he is nowhere to be seen in the last episodes. If these things are a set-up for season 6 then it could possibly turn out well, but this is not what I am used to from HoC. The changing of the guard in terms of showrunner does not seem to work out well (yet). Hopefully season 6 will be back to the level of seasons 1, 2 and 4.
