In general, I am more of the series with one long storyline. So 'Longmire' is not really. Almost every episode has a head and a tail, but in between acts you gradually get more insight into the different characters that make this such a pleasant and relaxed look away. Especially the man of the hour Walt Longmire is extremely pleasant to watch. Surly, old school and socially handicapped, but with our heart in the right place. After his wife dies, Walt mainly focuses on the number of six packs remaining in the refrigerator and whether they are at the right temperature. Slowly but surely the realization grows that this cannot continue and he hangs the Smith & Wessons on his hips again and pokes the golden sheriff star on the chest. With the help of his daughter, Cady, and the new deputy, Vic, he finds his second breath and puts both his private and work life in the scaffolding for the much-needed lick of paint. As soon as he gets things on track, little by little it becomes more clear about what exactly happened to his wife and that ensures that from the end of season 1 you can speed through the episodes at an ever faster pace. If you just look down on series, because they don't demand anything from your fantasy and imagination, then you're in luck. Because 'Longmire' is also available in book form. So you can read it and then brag at parties about how incredibly well-read you are.

After Longmire has been renewed for season 3 I have decided to download this series. Finally watched the first episode today. I am really a super fan of Katee Sackhoff. Loved her in 'Battlestar Galactica' and she is doing very well in this series as well.
