No fourth season for Longmire

After three seasons, A&E has pulled the plug on the drama series ‘Longmire’. A&E issued the following statement: “We would like to thank the phenomenal cast, crew and producers of ‘Longmire’, along with our partners at Warner Horizon, for their tireless work on three seasons of quality dramatic storytelling.”

'Longmire' follows the life of a Wyoming county sheriff who goes back to work after his wife died. With the support of his family and colleagues, he tries to solve crimes. Longmire is modest grey and has dry wit.

Rumour has it that Warner Horizon has plans to go shopping so that the series could still make a restart.

The episode which aired August 4 now appears to have been the last of the series. What do you think? Is it a pity that ‘Longmire’ has been cancelled and do you hope for a restart with another network?
