Lost is een Amerikaanse mysterieuze thrillerserie van de zender ABC. De serie ging in première op 22 september 2004.
Door een vliegtuigcrash stranden de overlevenden van vlucht 815 van luchtvaartmaatschappij Oceanic op een schijnbaar verlaten tropisch eiland. De schijn van verlatenheid verdwijnt al gauw. De overlevenden besluiten samen te werken, teneinde te overleven op het mysterieuze eiland, waar onder andere een monster van rook in de jungle schijnt te leven; waar een metalen luik iets onbekends afsluit in de ondergrond; en waar de zogenaamde "Anderen" (the Others) leven. Iedere aflevering vertelt iets over de achtergrond van één van de mensen op het eiland aan de hand van flashbacks, en toont waarom de verschillende personages zich op een bepaalde manier gedragen en hoe onderlinge relaties zich ontwikkelen, met deze mysterieuze verschijnselen op de achtergrond.

My 1st series in which I became addicted .. watching series was never my thing, that has changed with the series 'lost' .. what a wonderfully adventurous, crackling, mysterious thriller that grabs you and never lets go .. 1st 3 seasons on DVD Bought on the shelves for a bargain and actually looked straight away somewhere around 2007 when, for example, netflix was not yet .. not in the Netherlands iig .. I was addicted and the series already had a season 4 but not yet 5 & 6. . unfortunately the sequels were a lot less, it became more vague and vague towards the end .. ymmr that there are no more series in this genre .. leftovers is 1 .. a must too .. with a clear lost flavor .. Lost gets an average of 8 .. the 1st 3 seasons were phenomenal, average a big 9.5 .. season 4.5 and 6 an average of 6.5 .. such a series that I will never forget .. delicious !!

Wonderful series! When I started it, I had a completely different idea of where it was going to lead us than it did in the end. Definitely worth following if you like conspiracy theories and suspense!

The first 3 seasons were addictive, after that not so great and we only watched the last season because we wanted to know how it was going to end, but we still don't understand the whole story. After we watched the series, it got more and more blurred.

I don't know exactly why yet, but I think it is an exciting, constructive series. Every episode I wonder more and more how things will continue. I'll definitely check this one out. Until the bitter end.

I just saw it too and had a bit of a "well..." feeling afterwards. And I also expected that there would be an extra episode - maybe they will try to clear up some extremely vague things with that but all in all you will never see every mystery solved in this series and that makes Lost a bit too what it is. I'm going to miss the characters too!

This series can now also be found in Play More from provider Telenet, although only 5 seasons. Have just watched the first season for me everything got off to a slow start but now that you are starting to understand everything better it is following well and exciting.

Season 1 & 2 were super good, seasons 3 & 4 were ok, but I really didn't like the last 2, way too complicated. After a while I could not follow anymore and just wanted to stop watching, the only thing that made me look further is the great acting, and just want to know how it ends.
