Lost is een Amerikaanse mysterieuze thrillerserie van de zender ABC. De serie ging in première op 22 september 2004.
Door een vliegtuigcrash stranden de overlevenden van vlucht 815 van luchtvaartmaatschappij Oceanic op een schijnbaar verlaten tropisch eiland. De schijn van verlatenheid verdwijnt al gauw. De overlevenden besluiten samen te werken, teneinde te overleven op het mysterieuze eiland, waar onder andere een monster van rook in de jungle schijnt te leven; waar een metalen luik iets onbekends afsluit in de ondergrond; en waar de zogenaamde "Anderen" (the Others) leven. Iedere aflevering vertelt iets over de achtergrond van één van de mensen op het eiland aan de hand van flashbacks, en toont waarom de verschillende personages zich op een bepaalde manier gedragen en hoe onderlinge relaties zich ontwikkelen, met deze mysterieuze verschijnselen op de achtergrond.

What a drama series, I'm sorry I didn't drop out in the middle of season 2. The ones that were lost were the writers and they couldn't go any further with the plot. The last seasons were really unbearable

the first time I watched this series I could not hear the last season anymore, I dropped out but now started again. Maybe it makes more sense a second time. I think it is very low of you that you judge others because they could no longer follow the plot. I hope that this time with watching it becomes a bit clearer, because I certainly think it is a good series .. it is just a mindfuck series and that someone immediately understands that or not has nothing to do with the level of a person.

Watched it a few years ago via DVDbox. The episode ends with the question of what will happen next: addictive to watch. Exciting start, but after season 3 or 4 they would have been better off ending the series. The last few seasons make it very confusing what the fuss was really about with all the plots besides. The makers clearly lost the thread and the last few seasons seem to be tangled in knots. I thought the ending was like: "this is it?".

Overall a good story, good acting and beautiful images. I'm halfway through season 2 on upc/my prime and I'm getting more and more annoyed by the stupid dialogues. What I understood after some googling is that the story and the actors have gradually changed and it shows unfortunately. In my opinion, the writers are the weakest link in this series. Unfortunately. For the positives I give a 7 and don't think I'll be able to watch season 2.

WOW what a beautiful ending that was. I'm 1 of the few people who were satisfied with the ending why 1 most lost fans didn't understand the ending and that's why some still say 6 years is a waste of my time. 2 they are angry because not all their answers were revealed about mysteries and such but the most important ones have been revealed about the songs and the monster and jacob and I know what fascinates that be satisfied I would say. And 3 everyone now thinks after seeing the end that everyone is dead but that's not the case I can't explain very well so just watch the ending again or at least the last 10 minutes then maybe it will become a bit clearer everybody.

x-on:remco, here's another one who thought it was a very good ending! Really great series, I watched all seasons again before I started the last season. The last season is really good and a lot of questions are solved, of course not everything but that was also impossible if you wanted to make a story out of it. I think they handled it very well. :)
