This series is fun at times. The first episode featured a hilarious review scene, just to name a few. Episodes 2 and 3 were a lot less. 4 and 5 were fun again and 6 was less. I now also know what the common denominator is of the unpleasant episodes. That's Ray Romano. Both the actor and the character he plays are very unhappy. That man ruins every scene he appears in, I think. For me, the series is tight enough. Because of the few really nice finds that appear in it, he gets another six.
I have now seen the entire first season and I am sure that I will skip a possible second season. Apart from a few nice finds, it is simply not a good series. Cristin Milioti does her best, but for the rest it is simply very unpleasant and the drama is also hard to find. The idea was funny, but with the introduction of Herbert (Ray Romano) with his "synthetic partner" and later Judiff (Kym Whitley), a non-annex detective, the series could not be saved. Unfortunately.
