Nick Robinson and Margaret Qualley portray lead characters in Netflix series Maid

Nick Robinson and Margaret Qualley will portray the lead characters in a new dramedy called Maid, which is produced by John Wells and Margot Robbie.Maid is based on the bestseller Maid: Hard Work, Low Pay, and a Mother's Will to Survive by Stephanie Land. Nick Robinson (Love, Victor) and Margaret Qualley (The Leftovers) will portray the lead characters in this new Netflix series. Maid revolves around a single mother, Alex, who is portrayed by Qualley. She works as a housekeeper in order to make do. The series will depict poverty in the United States.

Molly Smith Metzler (Shameless (US)) has written the new series. John Wells Productions, LuckyChap Entertainment and Warner Bros. TV. will co-produce the series. Metzler, John Wells (Shameless (US)), Erin Jontow (Shameless (US)), Margot Robbie (Neighbours), Tom Ackerley (Da Vinci's Demons) and Brett Hedblom (Dollface) will serve as executive producer. It hasn't been revealed when the series is set to release.
