After that disappointing season finale of Luther, just something to keep Tuesday evening from going out like a candle, I thought. Maybe that Making A Murderer that everyone is so hysterical about is something, I thought. It will not be all that fantastic, because on social media people always turn a turd into a whipped cream cake, I thought. I thought. It is now Wednesday morning and I have just gotten off the couch shaking after staring at my TV for 10 hours straight. What the breeding ?! What have I been watching? How is this possible? What now? I'll give it up, Making A Murderer is going to be a hell of a job for people with an overdeveloped sense of justice. So if you still write a letter to John de Mol every week, because it is outrageous that not Jim, but Jamai took the win during Idols 1 with that cringe-worthy Step Right Up, then this might not be for you. Making A Murderer is the true story of the Avery family and Steven Avery in particular. The Averys are somewhat described by the neighborhood as the Tokkies of Mishicot, Wisconsin. The National IQ Test will therefore not be won by an Avery that quickly, but they more than make up for this lack of ready knowledge by rolling up their sleeves on the site of Avery's Auto Salvage. Son Steven also pulls a car apart every now and then for a fee and he drinks a beer from the hard-earned money in the local pub. Sometimes these evening parties get out of hand and the neighbour's cat ends up on the BBQ. For that Steven has to hum in the cell for a night, but Steven does not mind that. Don't do the crime, if you can't do the time. That's Steven, a realist pur sang. Not everyone can appreciate this carefree attitude, so when something goes really wrong on the Wisconsin coast, they are there to blame innocent Steven. “The victim identified the perpatrator as wearing white underwear, when Steven Avery didn't even own underwear” If you thought you saw two documentaries with Dear Zachary and The Imposter, that left you completely confused in your living room, put away. Making A Murder piles up the OMGs and WTFs at such a rapid pace that you have to grab a stepladder in no time. Even the most die-hard conspiracy thinkers would have this mother of all cover-ups like, “Well, well, let's see. Would you like a little less? This will be a very tough story like this. ”. Everything has been portrayed so clearly and accurately that you have to remind yourself now and then that you are not looking at an incredible SBS6 crime but at reality. An insane reality. A reality in which shocking stupidity and the absolute arrogance of power rule and crush everything in their path, leaving their victims desperate and powerless. It is State Secretary Teeven who makes a mess of it, resigns and then settles down in the House of Representatives for € 8,000 a month as if nothing had happened. It is Blatter who, on his way to his private jet with topless flight attendants, in his gold leaf decorated Maybach, wonders why the world has such a distorted image of him. It's complete madness. If you have high blood pressure, get your pills ready within easy reach, because you are going to need them. Maybe also good to provide enough snacks and slurping work, because Making A Murderer is just like a pack of Bastogne biscuits. You start with one, but don't stop until the pack is completely empty. Enjoy your meal.

Great documentary. Last night after WIDM and Moltalk I wanted to watch 2 episodes, and then go to bed at 8 AM the next morning. If this had been a movie / series you would really have thought how they come up with it. Agree with gumstarr, if you have a strong sense of justice this is a tough sit.

Truly brilliant docuseries. Beforehand I was like: Huh? 10 hours. But incredibly fascinating. From beginning to end. Really enjoyed this series.

What a great series. Reminded me in many ways of the Paradise Lost documentaries about the West Memphis 3.
