Set in Bath, two feature-length films pair the wildly ambitious DCI McDonald with the shy, modest DS Dodds. While McDonald has transferred from the mean streets of South London to leap up the career ladder, Dodds has happily languished on the shelf for most of his working life. I thought it was good. Hopefully more episodes will come

what a lovely old-fashioned detective series. It takes some getting used to the main characters, but as the 1st episode progresses you see that they complement each other well. She is a little too nervous and impatient and he stays calm and is sharp. Nice looking away. You can participate until the end. Surprising series. Unfortunately only 2 episodes.
