From the point of view of people who never watch documentaries, I can imagine where the big shock comes from. As a documentary enthusiast I am shocked by the 'mistakes' of the police and the discrimination. By the way, clearly with the references to Ed Gein that that will be the next series

In the past I have seen and read many documentaries about Jeff Dahmer (and other serial killers). So before I started watching this series, I already had an idea of what to expect from it. So it was true that it would be 10 slow episodes, of which I almost fell asleep a few times. I knew that there was so much corruption among the (white) police in this case, but I was shocked that it was so bad. This series really made me hate Dahmer. Only this was about an actor I didn't know and who didn't really seem sympathetic to me. Conclusion: An interesting series with a fantastic actor in Dahmer's place. Still highly recommended.

Well acted and well cast! That kid looks huge! The last 4/5 episodes are just pure filler. It all takes just too long and there is very little left to tell. The story and process are, in my opinion, very interesting (and bizarre) and well filmed. After that it gets slow and paper thin.
