Moordvrouw is een Nederlandse actieserie van de zender RTL4. De serie ging in première op 20 januari 2012.
In Leeuwarden staat een team uiterst gemotiveerde en professionele politiemensen voortdurend onder hoogspanning om dreigende catastrofes het hoofd te bieden. Niet zozeer met deductie en ontspannen gepuzzel, maar met races tegen de klok.
Een talentvolle rechercheur, Fenna Kremer, raakt getraumatiseerd, maar gaat ogenschijnlijk hersteld acht maanden later weer aan het werk. Ze komt terecht op bureau Leeuwarden, waar zij haar nieuwe team tot wanhoop drijft: door haar solistische aanpak, haar intuïtie, haar volstrekt verwerpelijke methoden en vooral... door haar succes hiermee!

I am so annoyed by the fact that Dutch directors think that we are a backward people. If you are used to watching good Scandinavian series, then this series Moordvrouw is a very amateurish thing. She (Wendy van Dijk) runs in heels to a huge front yard of a Frisian borg, of which she knows that 'the murder weapon' is somewhere in the front yard. She spit once in the ground and it's bingo, there's the bat!!! Still very unbelievable. This was just an example, there are more pieces in it. Not to mention the stupid teen, what's the point? Isn't she just a coffee lady? But no, she has a crush on that Ali B, so those are Frisian detectives, did the province of Friesland have to pay so much for that????? Furthermore, Wendy plays really nice, Römer by the way. In short: the Netherlands is richer (poorer!) for a bad unrepresentative police series!
