There is good news and bad news for the fans of the sitcom ‘Mulaney’. The good news is that FOX hasn’t cancelled the show yet. The bad news is that FOX has decided to cut the number of episodes of the first season. ‘Mulaney’ will get 13 episodes instead of 16. FOX decided to this cut right before the cast and crew would start production on episode 14.
The show, that follows rising stand-up comedian John ‘Mulaney’, doesn’t do well in the ratings. The premiere episode of October 5th had 2.3 million viewers and the second episode had 2.19 million viewers. Numbers that normally guarantees a cancellation, but FOX doesn’t want to give up yet, it seems.
