Crime with a little history lesson per episode. Lighthearted, never really scary, exciting or real action. An occasional episode, it's nice to watch. Handsome leading man.
A very nice relaxing series with some serious dramas. Things go downhill from season 5 onwards, with absurd things regularly appearing, such as: It is 1904, Murdoch invents a wireless communication system, including an ear device that goes completely into the ear + a hidden microphone. He then quickly invents the camera and a screen that looks damn well like a modern LCD screen. There are episodes where people say, what was I watching. The previously intelligent detective becomes dumber and dumber.
The fact that there are already 17 seasons indicates that there are many people (including myself) who think it is a fun series and oh well... I don't take all those inventions so seriously. In short, I think it's a nice series and you don't... Everyone is different... and I'll leave it at that...
