Nashville is een Amerikaanse dramaserie van de zender CMT/Hulu (voorheen ABC). De serie ging op 10 oktober 2012 in première.
Rayna James is een countrylegende en heeft een carrière die de meeste artiesten zouden benijden. Maar toch. De laatste tijd begint haar populariteit te tanen. Er zijn nog steeds genoeg fans die haar handtekening willen, maar de concertzalen zitten niet meer bomvol zoals in de hoogdagen van haar carrière.
Haar platenmaatschappij komt met een idee om haar populariteit weer op te krikken. Ze organiseren een concerttournee, waarbij ze het podium moet delen met de jonge en sexy belofte Juliette Barnes. Maar de sluwe Juliette wilt natuurlijk alle aandacht naar haar toe trekken. Rayna heeft dan ook weinig zin om met deze respectloze, ongetalenteerde en kleine feeks samen een podium te delen, waardoor er een ware populariteitsstrijd ontstaat. Maar misschien heeft Rayna een geheime troef in handen, wanneer de nog onbekende songschrijfster Scarlett O'Connor haar helpt om haar carrière nieuw leven in te blazen.

TERRIBLE!!! Seen all seasons. What would I do without Nashville?? Homesick for the entire cast. What beautiful people. They are all my favorite actors. What a beautiful series.

I have had a smart tv for 2 weeks and we watched nashville, have to watch 4 more episodes now and then i saw 4 seasons. It's so addicting and I hope Season 5 will be out soon. Have always loved country and now it has become even more, wanted to go to Nashville myself, to see it with my own eyes and hear it. Hopefully more of such series will be released.

As so often, this series starts with a great season. I then gave a 10. But the further you get, the worse it gets and only a mediocre product remains that is bursting with intrigue. Sometimes with me really looking with my toes bent. I am now in season 5 and plan to finish the series, but that is no longer easy. As far as I am concerned, the series has dropped to a 7. The statistics in the US do not make me happy either, because the last 2 seasons were very poorly viewed and received.
