Actress will leave NCIS after its eighteenth season

Maria Bello (Goliath) will be part of NCIS for only eight more episodes, after that, her story will be over.

Maria Bello (Goliath) will leave NCIS. It is currently expected that she'll appear in eight more episodes, after which the story of Jacqueline "Jack" Sloane will be over. Bello joined the cast in the fifteenth season. She had a three-year-long contract.

Last May, NCIS was renewed with an eighteenth season. This didn't just happen for NCIS. The entire NCIS franchise was renewed with new seasons by CBS. A premiere date is currently unknown, but CBS is hoping that they're able to air the series during the upcoming fall season.

I didn't think her character was one of the best additions in recent years. Here and there she had a nice part in the whole, but usually her character was quite redundant. And that story about her daughter seemed rather forced because she also had to get a personal dramatic storyline. I don't think I'm going to miss her.
