Showtime gives green light to pilot of Let The Right One In with Demián Bichir in the lead

Showtime has ordered a pilot episode of Let The Right One In, the series adaptation of the book by John Ajvide Lindqvist. Demián Bichir (Grand Hotel (US)) will portray the lead character. For the last six years, Tomorrow Studios has been working on this new series. It comes from Andrew Hinderaker (Away), who will serve as showrunner. Seith Mann (Homeland) will direct the series. The story is based on the bestseller by John Ajvide Lindqvist, which released in 2004. In 2008, a movie adaptation of the Swedish book was released. It is now known who is going to portray the lead character.

Demián Bichir (Grand Hotel (US)) will portray father Mark. When his daughter turned into a vampire ten years ago, their life changed completely. She can only go out at night and tries to keep her dad alive by drinking the minimum amount of human blood required to survive.
