Three familiar faces from Yellowstone (2018) are joining Luke Grimes for the CBS spin-off Y: Marshals. In Y: Marshals, Kayce Dutton (Luke Grimes) leaves the Yellowstone ranch to join an elite unit of the U.S. Marshals. He combines his experience as a cowboy and Navy SEAL to bring justice to Montana, where he and his team must navigate between family, duty, and the psychological toll of combating violence.
Gil Birmingham
Gil Birmingham, Brecken Merrill, and Mo Brings Plenty join Grimes. Merrill reprises his role as Kayce’s son Tate, while Birmingham and Mo Brings Plenty return as Thomas Rainwater and Mo.
Notably absent is Kelsey Asbille, who portrayed Monica, Kayce’s wife and Tate’s mother, in the original series. Her absence will be explained in the new series.
Additionally, Arielle Kebbel (Rescue: HI-Surf), Ash Santos (Pulse), and Tatanka Means (Reservation Dogs) have been added as regular cast members, while Brett Cullen (Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty) will have a recurring role.
Kebbel, Santos, and Means play Belle, Andrea, and Miles, all members of the U.S. Marshals. Cullen takes on the role of Harry Gifford, the head of the Marshals in Montana.
