Second season Evil and fifth season Seal Team to move to Paramount+

Paramount+ has officially taken over Evil and Seal Team from CBS. Seal Team has also been renewed with its fifth season, which is expected to release during the next fall. A couple of days ago, it was revealed that Seal Team and Clarice would probably move from CBS to Paramount+. The Seal Team takeover has been officially confirmed, but negotiations about Clarice are still ongoing. Next to that, the streaming service has also signed a deal that includes Evil.

With the upcoming change to Seal Team, the series has also been renewed with its fifth season. The first four episodes of this new season will still air on CBS, the remainder will exclusively release on Paramount+. The fifth season is expected to air in Q3.

Evil, which features the Dutch Katja Herbers (Westworld), will return during Q3 as well. Due to the corona-related production stop, the previously announced second season hasn't yet been released. It has now been revealed that the second season will not return to CBS. The series will become exclusive for Paramount+ subscribers.
