Grindr orders first original scripted series Bridesman

The popular LGBTQ dating app Grinder has entered the world of scripted series with Bridesman. This month, it will start production. In fall 2021, it will premiere. The comedy series Bridesman has been created by John Onieal and follows a bridesman who sabotages the wedding of his best friend. Each episode will take between six to ten minutes and will air on YouTube and Grindr.

The comedy is written by Julian Buchan and the cast consists of Jimmy Fowlie (2 Broke Girls, photo), Sydnee Washington and Shannon Devido (Difficult People). There will also be guest performances from Liva Pierce, Calvin Seabrooks, Benito Skinner and Kim Petras.



The series has been co-written by Frank Spiro and it has been produced by Katie White and Jeremy Truong. Bridesman is one of the new projects to explore new LGBTQ talents and to ensure the connection between Grindr users.
