Claflin, who is also an executive producer, plays Laz, a respected forensic psychologist who has spent his life running from the pain of his past. Only now that he returns home is he forced to finally face it.
Nighy portrays Doctor Lazarus (Dr L). Psychologist and father of Laz, Jenna and Sutton. He is a beloved figure within his community and shares his son's charm, dry humor and charisma. In death, he wants his son to understand that they are more alike than Laz thinks.
Roach plays Jenna Lazarus. Since her sister's murder, Jenna has delved into a world of spiritual practices, but when her brother returns home and begins experiencing unexplained phenomena, she is forced to confront secrets from her own past.
Lazarus is produced by Quay Street Productions and Amazon MGM Studios in association with Final Twist Productions.
Claflin recently starred in Prime Video's Daisy Jones & The Six. The actor had other series roles in BBC's Peaky Blinders, the BBC limited series White Heat and the Starz series The Pillars of the Earth. He will soon be seen in the limited series The Count of Monte Cristo by France Télévisions and the Italian RAI.
Nighy starred in Showtime's The Man Who Fell to Earth starring Chiwetel Ejifor and appeared as Saint German in Netflix's Castlevania. He also played roles in Doctor Who and the BBC limited series State of Play, among others.
Roach was recently seen in Netflix's limited crime science fiction series Bodies (2023) and will soon be seen in the six-part BBC series Nightsleeper opposite Joe Cole (Gangs of London, Peaky Blinders). She has guest starred on BBC's Killing Eve, BBC's Death In Paradise, Netflix/Channel 4's Black Mirror and a recurring role on ITV/PBS's Sanditon.
