
Brown (pictured, left) is DCI Joe Mottram, a detective with the Metropolitan Police who, after a personal tragedy with his daughter, retires to Capri, Italy, to spend the summer with his Italian in-laws. Logan (pictured, right) is Elena Da Vinale, the family's witty matriarch, manager of the family restaurant and mother of DCI Joe's late wife.
Gomorrah (2014) actress dell'Anna plays Inspector Lara Sarrancino, an ambitious and no-nonsense detective with the state police in Naples. Beau Gadsdon (pictured, center) plays Joe's daughter Angelica.
Rounding out the cast are Urbano Barberini as Gennaro Da Vinale, the patriarch of the Da Vinale family and legendary local chef; Alessandro Fella as Luca Da Vinale, Gennaro's nephew; Gaia Scodellaro as Daria, a local divorcee who works in the restaurant's kitchen and Alessandro Bedetti as Daniele, a young lothario who falls in love with Angelica and wants to show her the island.
A Taste For Murder is written by Matt Baker, who has written a number of series produced by A Taste For Murder creator Eagle Eye Drama, including Patience and Hotel Portofino.

The series will premiere on BritBox in the US and Canada. The drama is distributed internationally by ITV Studios with production services provided by Drugiplan.
