New horror series from Mike Flanagan announced

Mike Flanagan, known from The Haunting, is working on a new horror series for Netflix. The show is called Midnight Mass. We follow a group of people on an island where miraculous things happen after a charismatic, mysterious young priest appears. The cast consists of Kate Siegel, Henry Thomas and Annabeth Gish, among others, who all participated in The Haunting.

Production on Midnight Mass will start later this year and the first season of the series will consist of seven episodes.
