Thomas Jane portrays lead role in new crime series Troppo

The dramatic crime series Troppo - which features Thomas Jane (The Expanse) - is based on the book Crimson Lake. Troppo is based on the book Crimson Lake, which was written by Candice Fox. Thomas Jane (The Expanse) will portray the lead character in the new series, next to that, he'll also serve as executive producer. Yolanda Ramke (Packed to the Rafters) will write the dramatic crime series. Troppo comes from Penn's Renegade Entertainment, AGC Television, Essential Media and Beyond Production and is set to start production in Australia later this year.

The story takes place in Queensland, Australia. Thomas Jane will portray an ex-cop who escapes to the tropical areas of Far North Queensland, as he is unjustly accused of a disturbing crime. He becomes entangled in a new private detective agency.
