ABC cancels The Baker and the Beauty and renewes For Life

ABC has renewed the American drama For Life with a second season. The Baker and the Beauty has been cancelled after its first.

ABC has renewed For Life with a second season. The first season premiered on the eleventh of February. The drama series has been conceived by Hank Steinberg (Without a Trace). The story is based on the life of Isaac Wright Jr, who became a lawyer right after he left prison.

Next to that, the American network has decided to cancel The Baker and the Beauty. The romantic dramedy will not have a second season. The series premiered on the 13th of April and follows the impossible love story between a simple baker and an international superstar. The series is based on the Israeli series of the same name, which was created by Assi Aza (Bagels & Bubbels). Near the end of May, ABC already cancelled and renewed quite a few series.
