The CW orders The 4400 reboot

The CW has ordered a reboot to the USA Network science fiction series The 4400. The original was cancelled in 2007. More than two years ago, The CW announced that they've started working on a reboot to the science fiction series. The network has ordered the entire series after two years of production. The original series premiered on the USA Network in 2004 and was eventually cancelled in 2007. It ended on a massive cliffhanger.

The reboot comes from Ariana Jackson, Laura Terry and Anna Fricke. Jackson has written the script. It is not yet known when the series is set to premiere at The CW or who's going to be part of the cast. The story revolves around a group of 4400 people who mysteriously disappeared into a mysterious light orb at Mount Rainer. When they return after years, none of them aged and nobody seems to know what has happened. They do possess special powers. Down below, you can watch the trailer of the original series.
