Prime Video announces premiere and launch months for Gen V, Mr. & Mrs. Smith and Reacher season two

Prime Video has a number of original series scheduled in the coming months, and the streaming service has released a video giving some first looks at the upcoming series. Viewers will see the premieres of the new series Gen V in September, the new series Mr. & Mrs. Smith in November and the start of season two of Reacher in December. Prime Video will announce specific premiere dates for these series at a later date.



Gen V is a spin-off of The Boys that revolves around young adult 'supes' who are tested in battle royals at the Godolkin University School of Crimefighting, run by the infamous Vought International. The cast includes Jaz Sinclair (Chilling Adventures of Sabrina), Chance Perdomo (Chilling Adventures of Sabrina), Lizze Broadway (The Rookie), Maddie Phillips (Teenage Bounty Hunters), Derek Luh (Shining Vale), Asa Germann (Dahmer - Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story) and Shelley Conn (Liar).

Mr. & Mrs. Smith, based on the feature film starring Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, is a spy comedy series created by Donald Glover and Francesca Sloane. Glover (Atlanta) and Maya Erskine (PEN15) play John and Jane Smith, who enter a new phase of their marriage after agreeing to work as spies for a mysterious agency.

Reacher, starring Alan Ritchson, is a crime series based on the books by Lee Child about a no-nonsense former US Army military police officer.

The teaser clip also features clips from Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan, The Summer I Turned Pretty, Good Omens, The Wheel of Time, and several upcoming Prime Video movies.
