Nieuwe Buren is een Nederlandse dramaserie van de zender RTL 4. De serie ging in première op 14 september 2014.
Peter en zijn zwangere vriendin Eva kopen een nieuwbouwhuis in de Zonnewijk. Als hun dochtertje bij de geboorte overlijdt trekken ze noodgedwongen in hun nieuwe huis. Verder dan ooit van elkaar verwijderd. Terwijl Eva steun vindt bij haar nieuwe buurvrouw Rebecca, trekt Peter steeds vaker op met haar man Steef. Er ontstaat een hechte vriendschap waarin lief, leed en uiteindelijk ook het bed wordt gedeeld.

Having seen all the episodes of season 2 in the meantime, I can say that it would have been better not to even make the second season. Incredible, lackluster, predictable and sort of a repeat of the first season. In short, a waste of time.
