Norsemen cancelled after three seasons

There's not going to be a fourth season of Norsemen. NRK1 and Netflix have cancelled the Nordic dramedy after three seasons. The third season of Norsemen - which released in July - is the final season of the series. The Nordic network NRK1 has cancelled the series after this season. Norsemen can also be seen on Netflix, but the streaming service has decided not to continue the series.

Jon Iver Helgaker (Young and Promising) and Jonas Torgersen (Nissene på låven) created the series, which premiered back in 2016. Norsemen follows the inhabitants of an eighth-century Viking village, which has to deal with political rivals and societal changes that drastically change their culture and way of life.

That's how sad you get when you learn that there will not be a season 4 on Netflix.

We hope to find other ways to bring you more Norsemen in the future, but for now enjoy the first three seasons.
