No second season for American Odyssey

Creator Peter Horton has confirmed that ‘American Odyssey’ isn’t going to get a second season. NBC has pulled the plug on the low-rated drama series.

In this Traffic-like action drama, an international conspiracy explodes when three strangers' lives unexpectedly collide - a female soldier, a corporate lawyer and a political activist.

Peter Horton has sent the following tweet about the, not entirely unexpected, cancellation:

‘American Odyssey’ had its last episode of the first and only season on 28 June 2015, having filmed alternative endings.

Actor Peter Facinelli tweeted the following:

Big thanks to all the fans of #AmericanOdyssey. We aren't getting renewed for season 2 But season 1 was a great ride. -much love.
